Day 01 : Hanoi – Welcome on Board
A Grand Beginning in Vietnam’s Capital
As morning light filters through Hanoi’s bustling streets, your journey begins in style. Around 10:30 AM, a private chauffeur will pick you up from your hotel or designated meeting point and escort you to Gia Lam Station, where your luxury train experience awaits.
At the exclusive VIP Lounge, relax amid elegant surroundings while attentive staff handle check-in and boarding formalities. Enjoy a refreshing beverage as gentle traditional Vietnamese music sets the tone for the memorable days ahead.
By noon, the train glides out of Hanoi, revealing the peaceful countryside—lush fields, quiet villages, and riverside scenes. A refined onboard lunch follows, blending the delicate balance of Vietnamese and international cuisine.
The afternoon invites quiet reflection as the train traverses landscapes of rice paddies, rolling hills, and the tranquil Red River. As dusk falls, the train pauses at a small local station for an intimate cultural performance by local artists, showcasing authentic music and dance of Northern Vietnam.
Later, return to the train for a sumptuous dinner, thoughtfully prepared and elegantly plated – each dish a celebration of flavor, art, and hospitality.

Day 02: Sapa – Where Mountains Touch the Clouds
Fansipan Peak & Hill Tribe Charm
Awaken to the crisp mountain air and enjoy a lavish breakfast onboard as the train approaches Sapa, Vietnam’s fabled highland retreat.
Begin your adventure with the Muong Hoa Mountain Train, a scenic six-minute ride through valleys, terraced rice fields, and mist-shrouded hills. From there, board the Fansipan Cable Car, one of the world’s longest, and soar toward the “Roof of
Indochina.” At the summit, the panorama is breathtaking – rolling green mountains, golden terraces, and clouds drifting across the peaks.
After lunch, continue to the poetic Muong Hoa Valley, visiting Lao Chai Village, home to the Black H’mong people. Traditional stilt houses, stone paths, and endless layers of rice terraces create a picture of rural serenity.
As evening descends, return to the train to enjoy a fine dinner in the dining car. The warm lighting, delicate cuisine, and soft rhythm of the train create a tranquil close to a remarkable day.

By 9:30 AM, arrive at Hai Phong Station and transfer by private vehicle to Tuan Chau Marina, Ha Long. At 10:30 AM, board your luxurious cruise and set sail across the emerald waters of Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The limestone karsts and islets create a landscape of timeless beauty.
In the afternoon, explore Lan Ha Bay—a quieter, equally stunning extension of Ha Long. Paddle a kayak or bamboo boat through Sang Cave, a surreal tunnel of limestone leading to a hidden lagoon. Later, enjoy swimming, floating, or simply relaxing at Ao Ech, surrounded by tranquil blue waters and dramatic cliffs.
As the sun sets, unwind during the Sunset Party on deck or in the all-season jacuzzi. Sip Vietnamese tea or coffee, savor tropical fruits, and watch the horizon glow in hues of gold and crimson.
